Over 35, think your over the hill when it comes to Rugby ?
Well think again! Old Boys Rugby or Golden Oldies is your way to stay in the game.
Last year I watched 2 teams play Old Boys rugby and was hooked, I joined up the with the Bembelschwenkers a local Hessen old boys team with a mixture of nationalities and abilities.
A year later I have been training regularly and played in several games – all great fun except for the odd cracked rib !
In 2010 the Bembelschwenkers will take part in the European Golden-Oldies tournament in Caernarfon, Wales and I am proud to be going along to play with them.
